Today’s full questions and all 20 choices were collected from two pages displaying 13 October 2026. Answers were researched independently using Purdue and Oxford grammar references. Four answers are fact-checked. Question 2 has two grammatical choices and remains under review, with both valid sentences shown as suggested answers and no single app-accepted choice claimed. Question 5’s collected wording difference is disclosed beside the question. App acceptance on our Telenor SIM has not been confirmed.
Update: Question 2 now lists both grammatically valid suggested answers in the summary and answer card. The app’s accepted choice remains under review. Questions, choices and the four checked answers are unchanged.
Many reasons is plural, so the present-tense construction uses there are. There is and there was take a singular noun; has does not complete this construction.

Question 2: Which sentence is correct?
Both suggested answers below are grammatically correct. Grammar alone cannot determine which choice the app accepts; neither is marked as the single correct quiz answer.
AI prefer tea than coffee.
BI prefer tea over coffee.
CI prefer tea to coffee.
DI prefer tea from coffee.
Suggested answers
I prefer tea to coffee.
I prefer tea over coffee.
The app’s accepted choice is not yet confirmed.
Why this answer?
Both I prefer tea to coffee. and I prefer tea over coffee. are accepted constructions in Oxford. Current quiz sources select different answers, so grammatical correctness cannot establish which the app expects. Preserve all four choices and do not label either valid construction universally wrong.
03QUESTION 3Fact-checked
Question 3: Which sentence is correct?
AI ordered for a pizza.
I ordered a pizza.Correct answer
CI ordered to a pizza.
DI did order for a pizza.
Why this answer?
When naming the food requested, order takes the food directly as its object. A person can order food for someone else, but that different use does not require for before a pizza in this sentence.
04QUESTION 4Fact-checked
Question 4: Everyone ___ invited.
Aare
Bwere
Chave
isCorrect answer
Why this answer?
Everyone is grammatically singular. Use is invited for a present passive description; are and were do not agree with everyone, and have does not complete this passive construction.
05QUESTION 5Fact-checked
Question 5: Which sentence is correct?
The selected full question and choices, corroborated by another current-date page, include friends in this option. Other collections print friend instead. Those are different choices; match the exact wording in your app. Standard grammar requires friends after one of my and is with the subject one.
One of my friends is coming.Correct answer
BOne of friends coming.
COne friends are coming.
DOne of my friend are coming.
Why this answer?
Friends names the plural group, while one is the singular subject and takes is. Other current sources print and mark One of my friend is coming.; that exact choice differs. Do not silently change friend to friends or claim that the app accepts either supplied source version.
