Choose the code for the task

A cash-balance inquiry and a remaining-data inquiry answer different questions. Begin with what you need to know: money, MB, minutes, SMS, or the active bundle. The table below uses Telenor Pakistan’s own self-service resource book as its source.

These entries are informational inquiries. They are not a way to unlock unlimited internet, win a quiz without answering, or recharge a SIM. We keep activation and transfer commands out of this table so the purpose of each entry stays clear.

Does a balance or MB inquiry cost money?

Telenor’s undated self-service resource book lists an inquiry charge for these codes. That confirms they should not be described as free. It does not establish the amount you will pay today: the document has no visible revision date, and taxes or service terms may change.

Check the current charge through official support before making repeated inquiries. We do not publish an old document’s price as a current tariff. The official My Telenor listing describes balance and bill checking as free; internet access to the app can still use data.

Android and iPhone: choose the Telenor line

On a dual-SIM Android phone, the call button may offer two SIM choices, or the dialer may use a default line. Choose the Telenor SIM before sending the inquiry. A code sent on another network is not a Telenor account check. Your dialer’s buttons may look different from our illustration.

On iPhone, open Phone and Keypad. If more than one line is configured, check the selected line and switch to Telenor before making the request. The labels depend on how you named your SIM or eSIM. This site never places the call for you; the illustrations show the code before it is sent.

If the USSD code fails or shows an error

First recheck the stars, digits, and final hash symbol. Then confirm the intended SIM is enabled and connected to the mobile network. USSD travels through your mobile service; connecting to Wi-Fi alone does not make a disabled SIM work.

Close the error message and retry once after the signal has returned. Avoid repeatedly dialing a chargeable inquiry. If the message says the service is unavailable, your phone cannot fix the network service by changing unrelated settings.

Use the official app as the alternative and contact Telenor support if both methods fail. Keep the error wording, time, selected line, and app version for support. Do not publish your complete number, account balance, OTP, or other private account details in a correction report.

When the app is the better route

Use My Telenor when you need to compare several resources at once, inspect validity, or read an offer’s restrictions. The official app listing includes remaining MB, minutes, SMS, balance, and bills. That account view can help explain why money remains while general data has run out, or why a social allowance is not usable for a file download.

A USSD inquiry can be useful without opening an internet app, but it still needs mobile service on the selected SIM. Neither this website nor an illustration can read your live balance.

How this directory is maintained

The source document was accessed on 6 October 2026 and has no visible revision date. We report that limitation instead of calling every tariff current. We will revise a code when a newer official source or a redacted owner-SIM capture provides stronger evidence.

If your network returns a different result, send the code, error wording, and date through the correction form. Leave out phone numbers, OTPs, and account details. A correction helps us update the guide; an account dispute still belongs with the operator.

Frequently asked questions

Which code should I use first?

Choose by the information you need: cash balance, data, voice, or SMS. Read the matching guide before sending a code. An inquiry code should not be confused with an offer activation code, which can change your account or cost money.

Can I use these codes on any mobile network?

These references are for Telenor Pakistan. Check the selected SIM and network, especially on a dual-SIM phone. A familiar-looking code from another operator is not evidence that it has the same purpose on your account.

Why is there no exact fee in the table?

The official resource confirms the code purposes, but its tariffs are undated. We do not present those old charges as current. Check the current app or operator notice and any fee prompt; the inquiry may carry a charge.

Does checking a resource renew it?

No renewal is promised by an inquiry. Read the returned amount and validity separately. If you want to buy or renew an offer, review its current price and conditions in the official app rather than assuming an inquiry activated it.
